\u201cAny game that\u2019s close is going to come down to a two-minute or a four-minute drill,\u201d Logan said. \u201cSo we make sure our kids live those situations every week.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Centennial, end-of-game scenarios never get left to chance. Each week, the Huskies drill two-minute and four-minute situations that so often decide close games. Logan pushes it further, putting his players through rare situations that most teams never rehearse\u2014taking an intentional safety, defending a desperate, laterally filled play, or securing an onside kick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe kind of like to tie it in with anything that goes on that week in football,\u201d Logan said. \u201cIf we see a team flipping the ball across the field at the end, we\u2019ll make sure our kids know how to defend it and how to run it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
