Lauren’s First and Goal has released the first module of its Position Coach School series, beginning with QB Coach School and its opening module, QB Foundation: Mechanics and Movement.
This release marks another step in LFG’s move toward a year-round learning structure for coaches. LFG has long been known for its annual clinic, and now it expands that model with Position Coach Schools that give coaches a more organized path for development throughout the year.
QB Coach School Starts with the Foundation
QB Coach School begins where quarterback play begins.
The first module focuses on the foundation of the position, walking coaches through how to teach stance, build the throw from the ground up, connect the lower half to the throwing sequence, and train movement inside the pocket. It also shows how those mechanics can be trained under pressure so they transfer to game day.
The goal is not to present isolated drills or disconnected concepts. The module is built as a progression that helps coaches organize their teaching of the position and maintain consistency from rep to rep.
What QB Foundation: Mechanics and Movement Teaches
The opening QB Coach School module is built around eight lessons that move through the core building blocks of quarterback play.
Coaches work through stance and daily foundation, base and stride, lower-half mechanics, hip disassociation, outside-pressure movement, interior-pressure movement, spacing, and pocket presence under live reaction.
The teaching in the module comes from experienced coaches across the game, including Ken Merchant, Mark Rosenbaum, Ian Shoemaker, and Robert Weiner. Each lesson adds a specific part of the process so coaches can build a more complete approach to quarterback development.
Position Coach School Adds to a Growing LFG Learning System
QB Coach School is the first Position Coach School to launch inside the platform.
It joins the first module releases of OC School, DC School, Special Teams Coordinator School, and Head Coach School, all of which are already available inside the LFG learning environment. Each school is designed to help coaches learn in a more structured way based on the role they serve on staff.
This approach gives coaches more than access to presentations. It gives them a path.
Built from More Than 700 Clinic Presentations
All of this is part of a larger shift toward a year-round learning community.
LFG’s digital platform now draws on more than 6 years of clinic content and over 700 presentations to organize what the best coaches in the game teach. Instead of digging through a large library one presentation at a time, coaches can now move through curated learning tracks built around specific positions and responsibilities.
The result is a better way to learn, review, and apply ideas throughout the year.
A Year-Round Community for Coach Development
Lauren’s First and Goal is building more than a clinic archive.
The long-term plan is a year-round community where coaches can keep learning after the event ends, return to the material when they need it, and study the game with more direction. Position Coach School is a major part of that model because it turns a deep content library into practical learning paths coaches can actually use.
QB Coach School is the first position-specific track to launch, with additional Position Coach School releases expected to follow.
Find QB Coach School in the Learning Section
Coaches can now access the new module in the Learning section, along with the accompanying workbook designed to help apply the material directly to practice planning, quarterback development, and individual period structure.
