Introducing Coach and Coordinator AI

Introducing Coach and Coordinator AI

Starting with the Culture OS Companion

For more than a decade, Coach and Coordinator has focused on a single purpose: helping coaches grow through the ideas and experiences of leaders who are moving the game forward.

That work has produced:

  • More than two thousand podcast episodes
  • Thousands of written breakdowns and features
  • A long history of clinics, interviews, and conversations

We have highlighted how great coaches think, how they teach, how they communicate, how they lead, and how they build programs that last.

We will continue to find the strongest voices and ideas in the game.

What has become clear is that the next step is not only adding more information. Coaches are surrounded by content. The real challenge is understanding what applies to their team, their roster, and their specific situation.

Coaches need a way to sort, personalize, and apply the ideas they trust.

“One takeaway isn’t enough. Coaches need clarity they can apply.”

This is where the next phase of our work begins.

What Is Coach and Coordinator AI

Coach and Coordinator AI is a new initiative designed to make coaching knowledge easier to access, easier to understand, and easier to apply inside your program.

The first tool in this initiative focuses on the foundation of every program: culture.

The Culture OS Companion

Built from conversations with successful culture builders

The Culture OS Companion is shaped entirely by the eight-episode Culture OS series hosted by Rob Pomazak. Each episode explored a core element of culture with coaches who have built programs marked by clarity, standards, and consistent performance.

Featured coaches include:

Alex Golesh, South Florida Head Coach
Matt Drinkall, Central Michigan Head Coach
JJ Clark, Dallas Cowboys Assistant Coach
Brad Spencer, National Champion Head Coach at North Central College
Robbie Discher, Illinois Special Teams Coordinator
Jason Eck, Head Coach at New Mexico
Kyle Ralph, New Palestine Head Coach with seven state championships
Derek Leonard, Rochester Head Coach with seven state titles in nine years
Jordan Lynch, Mount Carmel Head Coach with four state championships
Brian Doll, New Trier Head Coach and former youngest IHSA champion

These conversations focus on how culture is built through behavior, standards, communication, and daily habits.

The Culture OS Companion organizes this thinking and makes it usable.

HOW TO USE THE CULTURE OS COMPANION

How to Use the Culture OS Companion

Note:
The Companion is built on the conversations from the Culture OS series and works best when you stay within the topics covered by those coaches. It is not designed to answer everything about football. It is designed to help you apply the culture, leadership, and program-building ideas shared in those conversations.

You will get the strongest results when you also describe your situation and what you want the tool to help you personalize for your team or staff.

The Companion runs through your own ChatGPT account. A free account works and gives you full access to the tool. A paid ChatGPT plan removes rate limits and provides faster responses, but it is not required.

To get the best results from the Companion, give it context and be specific with what you need.

1. Describe your situation
Share your level of play, where you are in the season, and the challenge you are working through.
Example: “We are a varsity team entering Week Four and struggling with practice urgency.”

2. Ask for something you can use
Request a plan, script, outline, or teaching progression.
Example: “Create a short culture segment for the start of Monday’s practice.”

3. Use coaches from the Culture OS series
If you want a specific viewpoint, mention the coach by name.
Example: “How would Brad Spencer teach accountability in this situation?”

4. Apply it to staff work as well
Use it to improve communication, alignment, or consistency within your staff.
Example: “Give me a staff alignment plan for our offensive meeting.”

5. Refine the answer
If the first response is close but not perfect, add details about your roster, schedule, or priorities and ask it to adjust.

Start with one situation and one question, then build from there.
