CCNetwork Releases the Slot-T System as a Year-Round Teaching Platform

The Coach and Coordinator Network has officially released the Slot-T offense as a complete digital teaching platform, marking the first time the system has been organized and delivered in a structured, year-round format for coaches.

The release centers on the Slot-T Mafia, a learning environment built around how the offense is installed, taught, and sustained over time. Rather than presenting the Slot-T as a collection of plays or clinic cut-ups, the platform organizes the offense into a progressive teaching order that mirrors real program implementation.

At the center of the release is Paul Kilby, whose work with the Slot-T spans decades as a head coach, offensive coordinator, and teacher. Kilby’s teams have been defined by disciplined repetition, rule-based teaching, and shared standards across the staff rather than constant schematic change.

“This isn’t about learning a few plays,” Kilby said. “It’s about teaching the offense the same way every day, with the same language and expectations, until it becomes second nature for players and coaches.”

That emphasis on structure and continuity has earned long-standing support from Bruce Bush, widely regarded as the Godfather of the Slot-T.

“Over the years I’ve had countless coaches contact me for information to help them install the Slot-T,” Bush said. “Now there’s a resource anyone can go to for the latest information and innovations in the offense. The Slot-T was a great equalizer of talent for me over 36 years as a head coach in Texas and led to a lot of victories. In a game where everyone is running the spread, it’s still an advantage because how can they prepare for it in three days of practice?”

For CCN, the release reflects a broader focus on preserving how successful systems are actually taught.

“What stood out with Paul wasn’t just the offense, but how deliberately it’s taught,” said Keith Grabowski, CEO of the Coach and Coordinator Network. “The Slot-T works because it’s a complete teaching order. Our job at CCN is to make sure systems like that live in a place where coaches can follow them the way they’re meant to be followed.”

That consistency shows up in sustained production. From 2020–2024, Slot-T teams at Liberty Hill High School averaged 48 points per game, more than 480 yards per game, and reached the state semifinals or beyond four times, including a state finalist finish. During the 25 year Slot-T era, Liberty Hill produced multiple 7,000-yard rushing seasons and accounted for five of the top 15 rushing campaigns in high school football history.

The results reflect a long history. Prior to committing to the Slot-T in 2001, Liberty Hill held a sub .400 winning record as a school district. Over the next two decades running the offense, the program reached 11 state semifinals, establishing one of the most productive rushing identities in the country.

As a head coach at Mathis High School and Sweeny High School, Paul Kilby oversaw Slot-T installs that produced immediate results, including all-time school scoring records within the first two seasons at each stop.

That production carried immediately into a new environment in 2025. Blanco High School averaged 42 points per game over its first 12 games running the Slot-T, finished 10–3 at the varsity level, and posted a 34–4 combined record from seventh grade through varsity in the system’s first year at the school.

The Slot-T joins a growing lineup of CCN platforms built around sustained teaching and progression, alongside the C.O.O.L. Clinic, Lauren’s First and Goal Clinic, and the Air Raid War Room. Each platform is designed to give coaches a system they can live in beyond clinic season.

The release also builds on Kilby’s ongoing work through his podcast series, The Slot‑T Mafia, where he outlined the offense’s structure, teaching priorities, and standards prior to the platform launch.

The Slot-T platform is built for both coaches new to the offense and those transitioning from Wing-T or other gap-scheme systems. Rather than encouraging hybridization, the platform emphasizes commitment to a single offensive order and the patience required to teach it well. Additional information is available at Slot-T.com, including a free resource, Do I Have a Slot-T Roster?, created to help staffs evaluate personnel fit and readiness for the offense. Coaches can also follow ongoing discussion and updates on X at @SlotTMafia.

This episode is paired with the Slot-T Basics AI Companion — a free coaching tool built to help you master the language and structure of Paul Kilby’s Slot-T offense.
